I'd write a song about how much you mean to me
A song about your love so endlessly

I'd write a song about how much you make my heart sing
A song about how your words are music to my ears

If only I could write a song

I'd write a song about how you make my life complete
A song about how you fill in the missing piece

I'd write a song about how you cheer me up
A song about how it may be unseen but it's real

If only I could write a song

Then this poetry could have been a hit

And the world would know how much I wish this song would reach you
That it may bring my happiness from me to you
